Fabio Namatame has worked in more than 200 theatre productions and he is the most recognized costumes designer in Brazil. His initial instruction in Japanese arts, culture, painting, sculpture and music confers creativity and histrionism to his costume and set designs, which shine on the stages where the best theatre, opera, musical or ballet shows are presented. Fabio is an artist who is interested in discovering the strength of each creation on stage. In this unique course, Fabio shares with us his experience, skills and work vision with practical examples of his own highly successful productions along with unpublished images and videos. We will learn about all the aspects related to the costumes: how to find references to develop a project design, the search of inspiration to create your own design, the importance of knowing the materials and all the available resources, the different stages of the work and how to successfully organize the fittings.
